Our School Curriculum


COURSES 


  1. Summer Program: 

a. We will begin our summer program in May 2025, we will aim at preparing students for the accelerated two-year academic journey. 

b. We are offering preparatory courses in core subjects in math, language arts, science, advanced language courses, and an introduction to college-level academic expectations. 

c. We will focus on leadership, self-directed learning, time management, and cultural awareness as part of a holistic program. 

All our students will have their own individual plan of study for the 2 year graduation program which will include AP Advanced Placement, and Dual Credit Courses at one of the local Community Colleges or Universities. 



Here is a detailed listing of the required and optional courses that Texas high school students must take to graduate, along with elective options. 

  • English Language Arts (4 credits)

    • English I (1 credit) 
    • English II (1 credit) 
    • English III (1 credit) 
    • English IV (1 credit) 
    • Note: Students can opt for advanced courses such as AP English (Advanced Placement), IB English, or Dual Credit English for college credit. 
  • Mathematics (3 credits)

    These three courses will be offered in Summer Camp 2025:

  • Science (3 credits)

    • Biology (1 credit) 
    • Chemistry or Physics (1 credit) 

    • Students can choose between Chemistry or Physics, typically taken in 10th or 11th grade. 

    • Third Science (1 credit) 

    A third science credit is required, and students can select from the following: 

    • Physics (1 credit) 
    • Environmental Systems (1 credit) 
    • Anatomy and Physiology (1 credit) 
    • AP Biology (1 credit) 
    • AP Chemistry (1 credit) 
    • AP Physics (1 cedit) 
  • Languages

    • Arabic 
    • Spanish 
    • French 
    • Portuguese 
    • Chinese Mandarin 
    • ESL – English as a Second Language 
  • Social Studies (3 credits)

    • U.S. History (1 credit) 
    • U.S. Government (0.5 credit) 
    • Economics (0.5 credit) 
    • World Geography or World History (1 credit) 
  • Fine Arts

    • Fine Arts 

    • Art 
    • Theater Arts 
    • Music  
  • Life Skills

    • Total Credits for Graduation
